Provide testing on finished product, raw materials, equipment contamination, environmental air, compressed air, water, and purified water. Provide scientific evaluation support for all manufacturing. Support all other Quality Control processes.

  1. Performs microbiological testing to raw materials, finished products and in-process as indicated by regulatory requirements. Conduct sampling and testing for received equipment as part of qualifications.

  2. Conduct sampling and testing of the purified and tap water system. Conduct sampling and testing to comply with microbiological environmental requirements.

  3. Review basic laboratory documentation. Perform the analysis of samples following the schedules based on company priorities.

  4. Evaluate results obtained and reports any mater pertaining the quality and microbiological integrity or information which is not in current Good Manufacturing Practices to the Quality Control Supervisor/ Manager and or Director.

  5. Conduct analytical investigation when results obtained are atypical. Document and report findings. Validate new equipment prior to use in the Laboratory: IQ, OQ, PQ.

  6. Kept equipment and materials required for sampling and testing ready and available for use. Report deviations observed to Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor and/or Laboratory Manager.

  7. Prepare media, perform routine laboratory maintenance. Write and revise Procedures and SOP’s.

  8. Review specs on all products and raw materials. Develop tables and testing lists.

Shift based on business needs (1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift)

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Science related field, minimum required; Bachelor of Science/Arts in Microbiology and/Biology preferred.
